GALE DAMAGE BLAMED FOR FACTORY FIRE
The prime cause of a £10,000 factory fire at Killamarsh is thought to be gale damage.
Mr C.B. Hoole, Managing Director of Sintaloy Products Ltd told The Derbyshire Times: “We lost some roofing in the gale. We are pretty certain that snow and moisture seeping through the holdes saturdated the electric wiring. A short circuit set up a hot spot and away it went.”
