Hi Janet one face I recognise on this photo is my sister in law she is on front bottom left.Her name was Barbara Yeardly then and she married my brother in law Geoff Jackson.I don’t know if this was before they were married but she came from Woodhouse cres in Bieghton then moved to the row of houses where halfway filling station is now after they got married.Janet Jackson

This photograph was taken in the toilets when I worked at Bramah’s at Halfway.
Audrey Whiteley is at the back – she lived near the West End Pub I think.
I’m on the middle row from the left (Janet Morgan – nee Higginbottom). I think the girl next me was called Pam. Not sure of the others.
In the middle at the front I think was Pat and Janis.
