  1. One of the brothers lived in the last house on the left as you descend High Street.
    He was meticulous about his appearance & like Ken says was a good business man who did his best to satisfy his customers. Happy memories of buying puncture repair outfits from him.

I can remember the post office during the 1940 s and 1950 s when the Bramhall brothers ran it ,I believe they were twins but I cannot recall their names,they both wore spec’s and combed their hair straight back, smoked a pipe and wore brown smocks like in “Open All Hours”. They both wore a tie and had brown polished
    leather shoes, always smart and very obliging to their customers.
