    • Hi there I’m wondering if you can help. My partners Grandfather was in the forces with Stan Booth and has recently asked if it was possible to find him. He is now 90 years old and has only recently mentioned it due to showing us a photo of Stan in uniform that was sent to him as they were great friends with Stans address on the back for where he was staying many years ago. We are
Just wondering if you know his whereabouts.
I would love to show you the picture to see if it is the correct person I am looking for. I hope to hear from you soon.
      Kind regards

      • Hi Andy,

I posted up a reply on here a couple of hours ago but it seems to have disappeared! So…here it is again…my Dad was Stan Booth and sadly he died on 1 January 2009. He came from Killamarsh in Derbyshire, served in ROAC during the war driving trucks and tanks through Belgium. Holland and Germany following D-Day. He was briefly stationed in Antwerp before becoming part of the British Army of the Rhine stationed at Bielefeld an Bad Oeynhausen, where he met my Mum. Hope you get this…cheers, Mike. PS would be interested in swapping any pics – I have several of Dad with his army buddies.
