My place of work for 8 years – 1967-75. Dirty, dangerous work carried out by great people
The house in front was built as the manager’s house – presumably about 1923, but as the tips encroached, it was rented by colliers. From the late 1960s to the late 1970s, it was the home of the Hagin family.
