Hi Keith aka Pin
Remember me Steven (Sam) Hall we were neighbours on Sherwood Rd as kids. I remember you all well , older brother David & your parents Percy & Muriel . Often wondered where you’d got to , nice to know you’re still knocking around . We spent some hours kicking a tennis ball around on the road using the 2 sign posts for goals. I actually went for a stroll round the old estate last month , one of the two signs still has the original concrete posts from the 1950’s
Hi Steven. I didn’t know you had sent the message until my brother recently told me. I am fine thanks as I hope you are. I live in Mosborough now with my new partner and am still working a bit. I remember well our games of tennis ball football and al the other stuff we used to get up to. We used to go out of the house in the morning and just find stuff to do all day until we went home for tea. Happy days. Best wishes. Keith
We stayed in an old disused school at Litton Mills in Miller Dale that was an outward bound centre. We went with Peter Reynolds [maths teacher] and Mrs Harrison [the home economics teacher]. One of the other photographs is of the group when we walked down Millers Dale into Buxton where the highlight was swimming in the thermal baths – that was amazing – a cherished memory. But Mr Reynold’s car was damaged by some of the local kids, which must have spoilt his time with us.
The other photographs are of the group in the playground of the old Litton Mills school.

Happy Days! Seem to think we ( school trip) went to a place called ” Litton Mills ” ??, do not know if THIS is the same place / time. Boys got told off for trying to spy girls in other side of room that was divided by a pull across screen!

I love this photo – it reminds me of the old pictures where there was a group of working men together

Have a go at the other pictures – more difficult! We were a bit behind you at school but I think your memories of school days is amazing!
Thank you
Hi Eric. Nice photos. I remember us all going and keeping the teachers awake on the first night as we were larking about. Hope you well.
Keith
