  1. My grandfather Ernest Albert Batterham was a long standing member of the Chapel & once told me that under the floor of the church was a jar that contained all the names of the congregation. It has never been found to my knowledge.

    In the blacksmith’s house lived Mrs Banks & her son Ted. {1960’s}
